How to download buildroot generated(sdcard.img) file to eMMC?

I'm using build root to generate an image and generated the sdcard.img file.
Steps 10 onwards it is noted to use USBImager and the selected file is .wic, while build root does not generate the .wic file but the output is sdcard. img file.
Can anyone please guide how to download buildroot generated image (sdcard. img) to eMMC?

cd output/images
sudo dd if=sdcard.img of=/dev/sdX bs=1M

I usually use this sequence of commands from the buildroot directory after make completes:

sudo umount /dev/sdX
sudo dd if=./output/images/sdcard.img of=/dev/sdX bs=1M

where sdX is replaced by the actual drive name associated with the PolarFire SoC USB mass storage.

I used below command to load the image to emmc flash.
sudo umount /dev/sdX
sudo dd if=./output/images/sdcard.img of=/dev/sdb bs=1M
After reboot, Seems linux is not booting. Getting below error.

You need to update your Icicle Kit with the Icicle Kit Reference Design release v2022.09, this should solve the issue you are facing.

You could download the Icicle Kit Base Reference Design v2022.09 release asset. This contains a job file that can be programmed to the Icicle Kit using FlashPro Express.

I tried to download the latest files as you suggested but got an error as "You must connect at least one programmer"
I'm using an Icicle kit and have connected two USB ports (J11 and J16).
