Add {command 'set COREID #"] where # is the HART that you want to attach to (instead of 'all HARTs') in the openOCD config options with a new 'debug configuration' as seen in the attached jpeg. This will cause the debug session to attach only to the specified HART can let you halt/start that HART without affecting the others. This is useful for AMP implementations that are running Linux on 3 HARTs and BareMetal or an RTOS on one hart; so you can 'debug' the real-time application while Linux continues to operate independently. (but watchout for inter-dependencies between your application code on the Linux side and your RTOS application that just hit a break-point...) |
