  • Labeling issues as "good-first-issue"
  • Remove Python 2.7.x from cmake-python-distributions and ninja-python-distributions. Few options:
    • Support creation of sdist using a docker image
    • Drop distributions of sdist for python 2.7.x. This means that project without wheels will not be able to build cmake from source when using Python 2.7.x
  • Documentation updates
    • More modern theme when we switch backend (~2 months before using scikit-build-core as a backend to scikit-build (classic))
    • Landing page for scikit-build.org and readthedocs
      • Discuss how to present the documentation to the users
  • Finalize release 0.5
    • PR #420: feat: Cache build environments by content hash
    • sdist normalization for name and permissions

• dynamic-metadata

  • Reserve dynamic-metadata by creating the corresponding package, this would allow to have tool.dynamic-metadata
