Sampling ROI and Saving Sampling Results

There are a couple recommendations that I have to improve sampling.

1. If I have mask files in my project and I want to sample a strip and get data that is separated by phase (Mg in Calcite and Mg in Dolomite) then the sample ROI disappears when I change from one phase mask to the other and I need to draw the box again. It would be nice to have the ROI not vanish until I want it to so I don't have to put post-it notes on my monitor to try and recreate the box in the exact place.
2. Even when I am looking at data in under the phase mask file when I go to "Sampling-> Save Results->Multiple Maps" I seem to get the averaged data for the entire transect without the phase mask. To get all the masked transect data I have to collect each one with the single map.
3. When you save a single map, some indication in the naming of the file as to what map was saved (Mg wt %, XMg, CaO) would be helpful.

Thanks for the suggestions and apologies for the late reply. I have made the following changes to the sampling function that will be available in XMapTools 4.3 beta 2:

1. This only applies to intensity data (not calibrated data), but I have added this feature. The ROI is now retained when you change the mask selection in the secondary menu. It only disappears when you select a mask file.
2. This only applies to intensity data, less effort was made to export intensity data. I have added this feature and when working with intensity data only the data from the selected mask will be exported.
3. This was really missing! I have added the program version and map type to the data file.
