Unable to run crux-in-a-box

I'm on MacOS, just started Crux learning with https://github.com/deobald/crux-in-a-box
Having cloned the repo, in folder clj, lein repl
From the REPL I do (load-file "src/db.clj")
Got this error: WARNING: /usr/local/Cellar/openjdk/15.0.2/libexec/openjdk.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java is loading libcrypto in an unsafe way
And REPL crashed. Had a similar deps.edn setup and have the same issue. Looks like related to Rocksdb kv store setup since in memory Crux works.
Googled and can't find any helpful answer. Any idea?

Resolved by switching back to standard java:
export JAVA_HOME="/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_221.jdk/Contents/Home"

I'm currently seeing the same symptom trying to get Crux working with Luminus. Having a hard time being OK with downgrading to the previous, now 7 years old, LTS. Is there another solution to this?

Ah okay, sorry for my confusion! We'll have a think on this and I hope you're not blocked from testing with an in-memory node in the meantime.

The 134 exit code suggests this is the same issue as #894, unfortunately - we don't yet know of the cause of this :(

CRUX_DISABLE_LIBGCRYPT=true CRUX_ENABLE_BYTEUTILS_SHA1=true clj ... works.

Oh, that's very hopeful, thanks! 🙏 We hadn't seen the libcrypto warning in any of the other repros, and I didn't make the connection.

In any event, would you mind/would you mind me suggesting this on #894, and let's see if it fixes the issue for the other folks too?
