Docs theme doesn't match system preference

Describe your problem

The docs theme has to be set manually through the toggle in the top bar, regardless of whether the system is in light or dark mode.

Describe your ideal solution

It'd be nice to have the docs follow the system preference (aka prefers-color-scheme)

Workarounds or alternatives

I can use dark reader for this, but I prefer not to

The motivation for this automation is to help prioritize issues in the backlog and not ignore, reject, or belittle anyone.

If this issue was marked as stale erroneously you can exempt it by adding the backlog label, assigning someone, or setting a milestone for it.
