Impact
When using client authentication method "private_key_jwt" [1], OpenId specification says the following about assertion
jti
:Hydra does not seem to check the uniqueness of this
jti
value. Here is me sending the same token request twice, hence with the samejti
assertion, and getting two access tokens:Patches
Has the problem been patched? What versions should users upgrade to?
Workarounds
Do not allow clients to use
private_key_jwt
