Vue 3 is in an RC state and will be released any time now.
Can we expect v3 support here any time soon?

@claudiocro is vue-i18next still maintained or should the community start a new vue-i18next module with vue v3 support?

@dlw93 @friedow maybe you know more? (https://github.com/dot-base/vue-i18next)

fyi: I've just created a first small gist with vue v3: https://gist.github.com/adrai/a2587dbc9f9e87d05881f55fa35aaae3
this could be the start for a new module...
In case someone wants to maintain this, let me know...

next step:
I've just created a vue 3 example... for a possible new vue-i18next module

Who wants to continue and maintain a new vue-i18next module?
Since I'm not a Vue developer, someone who also uses Vue with i18next should do this.

Does anyone pay for this? I really need for some joints, I'm nervous. Just, idk, 100€? Just for some joints. I guess you are true developers who have real salaries, isn't it? Okay... I'll go for another library.

But this library was cool!

Since I'm not a Vue developer, someone who also uses Vue with i18next should do this.

Seems none of the current maintainers is giving any comment about this topic... so I have a suggestion:

If there is a need for a vue-i18next with vue v3 support...
I'm going to create a new repository and release to npm a first working version (v0.9.0 or similar) but only if at least 1 vue user will maintain it.
I'm happy to help for i18next related topics, but since I'm not a vue user I don't think it would be a good idea if I would maintain it alone...

So, I'm ready to do the first step... who wants to contribute?

@adrai I guess we could just use the more popular https://vue-i18n.intlify.dev/ plugin instead?

Hey all 👋! We (the dotbase team) would love to support this library and take over its maintenance. For the schedule and updates on the progress of this issue see dot-base#5.

hey guys, sorry for the inactivity of this library. We could not give the love it deserves because we don't use vue (anymore)!

I am glad that others like the dot-base team picked up the work, so i recommend to switch over to their fork!

We will archive this repo here and update the readme to point to that repo. @friedow is your fork ready to become the "official" one?
