Applying for an Italian Visa

The official page from the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs on visa requirements has an interactive page to help get your visa. You should select business as the reason for entry (not research nor study). You can apply between 6 months and 2 weeks before the trip, but leaving more time is safer.

Travel to Padova

By Air

Most international flights will have a connection through one of the two main Italian international airports: Rome Fiumicino or Milano Malpensa. From there, it is either possible to take a domestic flight to Venice or Treviso or a train from the respective main stations Roma Termini or Milano Centrale.
