Hi! Our team has done a lot of work recently. This is why we released a new SPQR version two weeks after the previous one! Here are some of the main areas that we have been working on.
SPQR 2.0 news
We decided small step-by-step changes are better than heavily redesigning the router interface and breaking backward compatibility. In this release, we made it optional to specify the upper bound for KEY RANGE #445 and decided to choose the "dataspace" best name — distribution #455. But that's not all, most changes are ahead.
Extended protocol
We continue to working on the extended protocol support in SPQR. A lot of work has already done, and in some cases, the router works correctly.
Coordinator
We worked to make it possible to use the coordinator in production. We refactored the config a bit, cleaned up the logs, and fixed several critical bugs.
We still have a lot of room for improvement. The full list of changes can be found in the release notes. Stay tuned!
