size-adjust does not work on chrome for android

According to caniuse.com, size-adjust works on Chrome for Android. However it does not. A bug has been filed in the following link:

Would the font metrics that fontpie produces be different without size-adjust? If they would be different, would it be possible to add an option to product font metrics without size-adjust?
