Issue/Bug Description:
Gnome shell crashes when hidpi daemon is enabled.

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

  1. hidpi daemon is enabled and on my Lenovo P1 (Quadro 2000, 8th gen i7 vpro)
  2. connected to a monitor (4k LG 27 inch, running in low dpi mode with my P1 14 inch 4k display running in hidpi when opened)
  3. Close laptop lid
  4. Disconnect monitor usb-c cable
  5. Wait for the machine to enter sleep mode
  6. Open lid, gnome shell crashes, I sign in, all apps that were opened are now closed like i just rebooted the computer

Expected behavior:
Gnome shell doesn't crash when waking P1 with hidpi mode enabled from sleep

Other Notes:
Pop!_OS is amazing and System76 rules.
