Hello! Please feel free to close the issue if it is already solved. I've had three days searching the web and all forums trying to find a solution with the issue.
Issue/Bug Description:
At my job we started to use a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s with a Thinkpad Universal USB-C Dock which is a Thunderbolt 4 docking station. When I installed Pop! OS on the computer, with the laptop display or the HDMI Monitor connected to the docking station there were no issues. But when I connected to other monitors to the dock, by DisplayPort cables, right after logging in, the gnome-shell started to lag making the computer unusable, until (I think) something on the python script of the hidpi-daemon timeouts, but this timeout is like 3-5 min after logging in. With the two DisplayPorts displays connected, everything after the login prompt is lag, even trying to get some logs is a real pain, until yesterday (Feb 12, 2023) I've manage to get the logs from syslog and found an error with the hidpi-daemon which makes me think it was the culprit. Following the directions from https://github.com/pop-os/hidpi-daemon, I've uninstall de daemon (BTW I don't use it on this computer) and boom!, the desktop works as spected from a reboot. All three displays are 1920x1080, and I use the laptop with the lid closed when connected to the dock. I've attached the dmesg output besides the files you ask on the template issue.
Steps to reproduce (if you know):
Lenovo Thinkpad T14s with Thinkpad Universal USB-C dock with 1 HDMI Display and 2 DisplayPorts displays connected. Lit closed.
Expected behavior:
Boot and loggin in normally just with 3 displays
Other Notes:
Attached dmesg output and picture of the dock model and serial if needed. Also the screenshot of the error on the python script. xrandr.txt dmesg.txt monitors.txt syslog.txt
Docking station
Error on Python hidpi-daemon script.
