Apple is working to prevent third party applications from causing kernel panics.
This includes, for example, removing third vendor kernel extension and introducing DriverKit to protect the kernel from third party applications.
With the improvement of this effort, Karabiner-Elements is no longer a direct cause of kernel panics.
(It is possible to indirectly cause a kernel panic by triggering a problem in macOS.)
This basically means that your kernel panic is caused by a problem elsewhere, specifically macOS itself.
Since we can't fix the cause of your kernel panic here, the only solution is to send a bug report to Apple.
