Overview

The YouTube Auto Play/Pause Chrome extension automatically plays or pauses YouTube videos when you switch browser tabs. It offers a user-friendly interface to enable or disable this functionality.

Installation

From GitHub

  1. Clone this repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/youtube-auto-play-pause.git
  2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.

  3. Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top right corner.

  4. Click on the "Load unpacked" button and select the directory where you cloned the repository.

Usage

  1. Click on the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup.
  2. Toggle the "Enable Auto Play/Pause" checkbox to enable or disable the functionality.
  3. When enabled, YouTube videos will automatically play or pause when you switch tabs.
