Suggestion:
When the demolition thing happens and the explosion radius touches a field of water, turn the 7 hexes into shallow water.
(And in general, if a swamp tile is part of the explosion radius, turn it into water.)

Castle tiles in shallow water are not affected by the explosions, unlike normal castle tiles.
