The document is a working group item of the IETF OHAI WG and recently passed WGLC. It will soon go to IETF Last Call. In the meantime, this should probably get a provisional status until it becomes an RFC.

Generally, we let WG draft values be registered by IANA as they processing things after IESG approval. I'll leave this issue open as a reminder that the value shouldn't be consumed otherwise.

Thanks. The advice in https://github.com/protocol-registries/well-known-uris#when-to-register is that provisional registration can be asked for when the WG draft is adopted.
