This tool was created with the intention of establishing a convenient place to store all our Rubocop rules within a single place so that PDK and derivatives could consume it. However, as seen in this PR, it was never properly implemented. We are also not interested, at the moment, in dedicating resources to fixing and introducing this change.
As such, we are currently dropping support for this tools and we plan to archive it in the near future. If you have any questions or objections, please let us know in this thread or contact us directly.
