I still prevere the old Windows 98/XP classic Start Menu Style and use for that the tool Openshell.
Allso i used to have a FULL TRANSPARENT Startmenu and undermenues (only Icon/menues are Visible).
But as everybody knows, since the latest Windows 11 Updates its no more possible to get a full transparent Startmenu.
I tryed Windhawk Start Menu Styler to solve this issue, but the result was the same as in Openshell, the best result i could get
is a black transparent background, but NOT full transparent one!
Is it simply not possible, or is there any way to get the result i would like?
I addet a screenshoot from the best result i could get (the black transparet Menu)

You can have fully transparent Windows 11 start menu, just set the target: Border#AcrylicBorder and style: Opacity=0, the old start menu of the OpenShell is handled by win32/dwm APIs so it can't be edited by any Windhawk Styler mods as they target only the new Windows 11 XAML elements. Other projects like https://github.com/ALTaleX531/OpenGlass can achieve what you want.
