Valetudo 0.4.0-RE3 preview

Seventh release for testing RE version, verified on S55 (fw 1898).

Security & bugfix version:

• Pre-built binary is now packaged with Node.js 10.16.3;
• Fixed display issue with virtual walls.

No new features so far.

Valetudo 0.4.0-RE2 preview

Sixth release for testing RE version, verified on S55 (fw 1886).

The only new feature is possibility to export and import Forbidden Zones and Virtual Walls settings to and from Valetudo configuration file. Other than that this release contains few small improvements and bugfixes.

Also some changes are related to pre-built binary:

• Node.js is updated to 10.16.1;
• Now it is built without intl support and some other features that seem to be useless for vacuuming, thus new binary size is smaller than usual.

I also remind that those who build firmware themselves using default packages still need to install into their device newer libstdc++ library, as described in deployment section. For those who download pre-built binary this step is not required.

Valetudo 0.4.0-RE1 preview

Since origin Valetudo swithed to 0.4.0, welcome to 0.4.0-RE1 preview, the fifth release of RE version.
Verified on S55 (fw 1886).

No new features in this release but improvements of existing ones.

• Browser history should work now on the site (at least better than nothing);
• Testing updated miio message sending code;
• Various client-side small changes and bugfixes.

Node.js updated to 10.16.0 in pre-built binaries.

Also includes all upstream updates till 15 jul 2019.

Valetudo 0.3.1-RE4 preview

Fourth release for testing RE version, verified on S55 (fw 1864).

New features added:

• Viewing maps of history cleaning runs (works most of the time);
• Compression for map transferring via websocket connection (saves bandwidth up to 5x);
• Support of Daylight Saving Time in scheduled zoned cleaning.

Node.js updated to 10.15.3.

Also includes all upstream updates till 14 jul 2019.

Valetudo 0.3.1-RE3 preview

Third release for testing RE version, verified on S55 (fw 1864).

Mostly bugfix release:

• Hopefully fixed dynamic auth middleware, now it should be really dynamic and not requires to restart Valetudo anymore for changes to take effect;
• Some visual improvements for zones editing, active locations now can be deselected, zone "promotion" button now should appear on the map only when it makes sense;
• Attempted to fetch updated virtual walls & forbidden zone locations a bit quicker after editing them; also added a (debug) button that tries to forcefully reload the map.

Valetudo 0.3.1-RE2 preview

Second release for testing RE version, verified on S55 (fw 1852).

Assumed new features since previous version:

Scheduled zoned cleaning

Yeah, planned cleaning of only those locations that you want, not the whole quarters! Barely tested, but should work fine. Since there's no native way to run zoned cleaning in a "scheduled" way, it should just launch normal zoned cleaning at the specified time without any remarks about it was "planned". Note, it would be launched only if the device is standing on the dock, it will do nothing otherwise.

Changing zone priority

Now this is possible with a special button, so no more need to remove and re-add already set zones when you suddenly feel that their cleaning order is wrong. Just select a zone, press "promote" button and the zone will be moved forward by one position in the cleaning queue. Works for main map tab as well as zones configuration page.
