OutdatedCheckFailedWarning

This morning when I loaded pingouin I got the following warning:

/Users/arjunchandrasekhar/opt/anaconda3/envs/plant-architecture/lib/python3.8/site-packages/outdated/utils.py:14: OutdatedPackageWarning: The package pingouin is out of date. Your version is 0.3.12, the latest is 0.5.3.
Set the environment variable OUTDATED_IGNORE=1 to disable these warnings.

So I updated both pingouin and outdated

conda update -c conda-forge pingouin
conda updated -c conda-forge outdated

How when I load pingouin I get the following warning:

 /Users/arjunchandrasekhar/opt/anaconda3/envs/plant-architecture/lib/python3.8/site-packages/outdated/utils.py:14: OutdatedCheckFailedWarning: Failed to check for latest version of package.
Set the environment variable OUTDATED_RAISE_EXCEPTION=1 for a full traceback.
Set the environment variable OUTDATED_IGNORE=1 to disable these warnings.
  return warn(

I confirmed that I am on the latest/recommended versions for both pingouin and outdated. Should I be worried about this warning?

Did you activate your conda environment before installing and/or using Pingouin?
