Our latest release is 2.3 which was generally just a maintenance patch for the core. However we also now pin the release to a specific VagrantBox Version for improved version control.

Version 2.2 addressed a known issue for some users regarding permissions or missing folder location.

In the soon-to-be-released 3.0 we will be keeping the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS - long term support. While upgrading to the latest PHP 8.0 and other related updates. We also keep PHP 7.4 and upgrade it to the latest related minor version as well. Also we include some other important tweaks, including a performance tweak for better 'vagrant up' for some users, composer update to version 2 which resolved the existing known issue for some latency issues, and made mailhog the default mail recipient for anything send via PHP.
