Data Set

• The data set was provided by data.gov.my

Visualization

• A simple visualization on the population of different states was created using Tableau
• The visualization contains:
  1. Malaysia Map for the overall population
  2. Bar chart for population based on gender
  3. Bar chart for population based on ethnicity
  4. Bar chart for population based on different age group
• Users are able to filter on the followings:
  1. Year
  2. Ethnicity
  3. Age group
• Users are able to highlight a state to view the population details of the selected state
