Plugin worked fine before. After updating to version 0.8.1, the Plugin does not show up in HDT, nor in the Options menu,

Reverting back to 0.8.0 did not work either.

What could the issue be?

HDT changed the plugin directory. Auto-update should have worked, but something must have gone wrong. Try reinstalling using the new install instructions. After exiting HDT, you could first remove the Arena Helper plugin from the old plugin directory AND from the new appdata directory. Afterwards, install to the new directory.

Quote:

Make sure you install the plugin to the correct directory. HDT has recently changed the plugin folder behavior, so plugins need to be installed in a different directory.

See How To Install in the readme:

Unzip the archive to %AppData%/HearthstoneDeckTracker/Plugins To find this directory, you can click the following button in the Hearthstone Deck Tracker options menu: Options -> Tracker -> Plugins -> Plugins Folder

Thanks for the help. I still can't get it to work, even after following the instructions.

What are the contents of your Plugins folder?

The old plugin folder is empty. The new one (in AppData) only has the newest version of ArenaHelper in it.
I've even reinstalled HS Deck Tracker and the plugin. Still nothing...

So it's %APPDATA%\HearthstoneDeckTracker\Plugins\ArenaHelper\ArenaHelper.dll?

Yes, exactly

When HDT starts, it copies the plugins from the APPDATA plugin folder into the old HDT\Plugins folder, like a mirror operation: APPDATA -> HDT\Plugins. So when you install it correctly in the APPDATA, after starting HDT, the plugins should also appear in the old folder, copied.

Maybe there are external permission issues or something else..

I had the same issue after a fresh install. Solution was to go to HDT>Options>Plugins and ENABLE Arena Helper. After that it appeared in the plugins dropdown menu.
