Contributing to Free Datasets and APIs

How to Contribute

Suggesting a Resource

  1. Research: Please ensure the resource is not already listed and is relevant.

  3. Discussion: The community can discuss the suggestion in the issue comments. Your input is valuable!

Improving Descriptions or Correcting Errors

If you notice any inaccuracies or think a description can be improved:

  1. Create an Issue: Highlight the inaccuracies or suggest an improvement.
  2. Submit a Pull Request: If you're ready to make the changes, submit a pull request with your proposed edits.

General Guidelines

  • Ensure your suggestions are concise, clear and useful.
  • When adding a new resource, provide a brief description, explain its relevance, and link to the official site or documentation.
  • Be respectful and constructive in discussions and feedback.

  1. Update the README.md with details of the changes, including adding new resources or modifying existing ones.
  2. Submit your pull request with a clear description of the changes and reference any relevant issues.
  3. Your pull request will be reviewed by the maintainers and feedback or approval will be provided.
