Can you please add an entry in the manual showing the format of accepted verification files? #250

Hey, I would like to know what format the verification files can be that will be accepted by rhash when checking files, with printf we can add a bunch of information, but how can we add it? How we add comments? What are the characters rhash will ignore when parsing the verification file? Asking mostly because the path in the verification file doesn't need to be quoted so rhash, I'm assuming, takes everything past the first word (word in this case is the hash) as the path so if we have something like Thank you. |

For now manual says about comments only "lines starting with ‘;’ or ‘#’ are ignored". It seems, it should be written more explicitly. The supported hash sums formats are pretty poor:
or reverse order: RHash can also verify BSD hash format, a list of eDonkey links and magnet links. It would complicate the manual to describe them all there, so some balance shall be found. |
