creating

use new-Partition. To see the json payload to validate your parition you can add -dryrun $true.

for example:

New-Partition -name 'test1' -routingExpression '_sourcecategory=nothing' -dryrun $true -analyticsTier 'frequent' -retentionPeriod 180  -dataForwardingId 'abc'
