What is GECCO?

The GECCO (Geologically Evolving Carbon Cycle + Ocean) model is a carbon cycle box model, designed to operate on multimillion year timescales. Crucially, the GECCO model incorporates a representation of plate tectonics and recycling of carbon through arc volcanism.
