What we do have, however, is an update that should make some Starfinder 2e fans happy! You can now import SF2e characters into Sage!

Currently, we can only import characters using the form fillable PDF found in this reddit post from user u/alcahuetasanon. To ensure it doesn't get lost, we are also hosting it here, but please drop into that post and say thanks for the work they did and letting us use it!

For reasons, we don't yet want to fully build Starfinder 2e character support ... but we did manage to hack the Pathbuilder sheet logic with the Essence20 pdf import logic to get this trick to work, and it lays groundwork for future import options.

But wait, there's more! We altered the import logic so that importing a character should now create that character in a Game (or update an existing one). Additionally, importing a pdf is now as simple as using the correct import command with the pdf dropped into the message. For example, importing an SF2 character using this new importer only requires that you drop the pdf into the message box and then you type sage!import sf2e-pdf and hit "enter".

Oh, yeah, while in there, we also fiddled around with some of the character dialog logic to loosen the restriction on how many PCs you can use in a Game.
