Description

A project based in Computer Graphics and Interfaces, using 3D Modelling. This project was built using HTML (HyperText Markup Language), CSS (Cascade Style Sheets), JavaScript, JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), WebGL (Web Graphics Library), Three.js. The application gives a vision of our Solar System and all its elements, all using 3D Modelling and 3D Objects. Each element presented (Sun, Planets, Dwarf Planets and Earth's Moon) have its respectively information when the mouse hover above of each one!

To install this application, you will only need to download or clone this repository and run the application locally:

You can do it downloading the .zip file in download section of this repository.

Or instead, by cloning this repository by a Git Client based GUI, using HTTPS or SSH, by one of the following link:

Or even, by running one of the following commands in a Git Bash Console:

After the instalation

You can run the application, by open the following file presented in the root folder of this repository:

3d-object-viewer-solar-system.html

Instructions (also available in the canvas of the application):

Notes (IMPORTANT)

  1. It's mandatory to have the folders called common, info and imgs in the local repository, because it's where are the necessary WebGL utilities, Three.js utilities, geometric/solid figures, textures, JSON(JavaScript Object Notation)'s files with important information/data and other libraries
