Sp API vendor reports: How to match selling_partner_id which is in format of "amzn1.vg.xxxxxx" to actual vendor?

Hi!

I was wondering how to match variable that is returned with callback when Vendor/seller consent application in SP API with actual Vendor.

example case:

1. vendor consent auth of Sp API application
2. developer receive selling_partner_id parameter which is something like amzn1.vg.xxxxxx.

How to connect this ID to vendor? Is it some ID that can be found by Vendor in Vendor Central? Or can Developer match it in some Amazon API?

Long time ago I create similar issue related to providing some basic Seller information/Profile data instead of just selling_partner_id here, and seems like I am not only one that was confused. However there was no meaningful response.
