This is the v0.5 release of the smbmetrics project. smbmetrics supports gathering metrics from Samba native tools and exporting them as Prometheus metrics.
The developers of the samba-container project are happy to establish our latest release. While smbmetrics is still a fairly young project we think it's stable enough to see wider adoption. Highlights
Support for scraping text based metrics is no longer supported. JSON support for smbstatus is required.
