I'm trying to translate for someone who doesn't understand Japanese sentences. (by sakots)
Now anyone with a Github account can edit the wiki. Let's make it better.
Classified into:
- First setting
- Items that may need to be changed
- Advanced settings
- Advanced settings for OEKAKI
- Compatibility settings
- Troubleshooting
Everything other than 1. and 2. shouldn't be modified, unless there's a problem.
The place to set permissions is classified as (6.).
Again, if you're not having problems, you don't need to change it.
The ’picpost.systemlog’ setting is intended for developers, and has been moved from config.php
to potiboard.php
for this reason.
In most cases, no.
The config.php file is already configured to work in most environments, so it's usually not required to modify it. But in some cases it maybe required to change it for specific reasons like, for instance, solving permission issues with the folders and files generated by the software.
Sometimes we might add new settings in the config file. When that happens, these should be changed only when it's necessary. Otherwise they should work as they are.
This is because the HTML files haven't been updated yet. Try writing an update in admin mode, or by posting something. The HTML files will be updated when there are any posts.
Since the line ending is "LF", it may be displayed in one line with older Windows versions and software (Windows 10's Notepad, for example, is not affected). But Windows 10's Notepad BOM is attached to the beginning of the file and it may cause an error. Be mindful to save without BOM. Please use an editor that supports the "LF" line ending, like Notepad++.
Try using guest/incognito mode as your browser extensions may be in the way or use a newer browser. GitHub does not support Internet Explorer. Use a modern browser.
That's why this wiki exists.
I don't know what to write here as I don't have many questions other than these.
