This sketch makes your M5 Core into a remote bluetooth terminal.
- Press Button A to turn off auto-sleep (i.e. NoZ, default). Long-press Button A to turn on auto-sleep (ZZZ).
- Press Button B to cycle display brightness. Long-press to return to full brightness
- Press Button C to force-wake display. Long-press Button C to force-sleep display.
- Battery status upper right
- Auto-Sleep status in upper left.
- NOTE: DISPLAY WILL AUTO-WAKE ON ANY INPUT. (Including during auto-sleep or force-sleep)
I'm using the latest M5STACK from github. In Arduino, set Tool->Partition Scheme-> No OTA (Large APP)
Linux Example:
$ sudo bluetoothctl
[bluetooth]# agent on
[bluetooth]# scan on
[NEW] Device 08:3E:8E:E6:79:47 annapurna

$ sudo rfcomm connect /dev/rfcomm0 <bluetooth address> 1
$ tail -1f /var/log/syslog > /dev/rfcomm0
