A polyphonic gate controlled precision adder - transpose up to 8 voltages when the corresponding gate is high.

It's called a "precision adder" because it's typically used to transpose 1V/Oct signals. Transgate is polyphonic - you can transpose up to 8 voltages taken from the polyphonic INPUT. The knobs select the amount of 12TET semitones to add or subtract.

Transposition is only applied when the corresponding gate (taken from the polyphonic GATES input) is high. There are also individual gate inputs for each voice - if something is plugged here, the gate taken from GATES is ignored. The LEDs show which gates are high. When ALL ON switch is in the upper position, all gates are set to high regardless of the inputs - this is an easy way to quickly test things.

Transgate is a great companion to Orca's Heart as it gives you the ability to transpose each voice individually and by any semitone amount, not just a full octave (which you can do on Orca's Heart itself). Plug OH VOICES CV 1 output to Transgate INPUT and OH MODULATION GATE 1 output to Transgate GATES input, then use OUT for your 1V/Oct inputs to get additional variations in generated sequences:

It could be even more interesting to control Transgate with gates generated by something else - like a separate instance of Orca's Heart that is synced (or not synced!) to the main one. Or use an LFO into Comparator - even better if you use Formation to control the threshold levels:
