mod matrixes can introduce some really interesting sequence variations, and engaging a mod matrix results in orca's heart taking some time to settle into a new sequence. this can be used for performance purposes. to make it easier use the momentary mode button located in the left column:
when enabled, this will change matrix buttons to momentary mode - they will only be active while pressed (or if a button is already active, it will disable it while pressed). you can use it on an already defined matrix to cancel some modulations too!
