Best tool for Rachel's timeline of scholarship

Rachel has compiled a lot of U VA-generated scholarship related to sexual violence; needs to know best tool to use to exhibit it.

Let's develop this as a collection, and update the collections/show template to display a timeline of these items, based on their DC:Date value.

The tool I'll specifically use for the timeline will likely be D3. Have a rough prototype, using test data, working locally.
