So at what point/time in the log did you switch wifi? I see a succesfull reconnect in the log is that the change? |

That sounds really like it can be only reproduced on the Samsung phone with the Android 13 which means that this hard for me to reproduce as my only Samsung device is an old S6. |

To be honest since we already opening a new VPN with OPENTUN again, so we are already basically going through the whole disconnect/connect cycle. So short of actually figuring out what is happening, you probably really have to stop and start the OpeNVPN daemon again. And that is something that will need more effort. You can also try what happens if you use the OpenVPN 3.x core and see if that makes a difference. |

Yes, that's good approach, but due of the deadline and the environment that I already prepared for my project, I have to continue with the path of modifying the source code, all what I need is a help or some hints if available, about that, I made some research and found that I may modifying in this file main/src/main/java/de/blinkt/openvpn/core/DeviceStateReceiver.java in this function networkStateChange like this: `public void networkStateChange(Context context) { private void reconnectVPN() { private boolean isNetworkAvailable() {

Directly calling startOpenVPN will not work. You probably want to generate yourself an intent from the profile to start yourself. See LaunchVPN.java for all the extra stuff that is done around startVPN. |

Hi,
I have a project in my university that uses openvpn, and I facing problem in some cases, when wifi is changed or (wifi turned off for a while), the problem is when is return back the app automatically connect again and it seems to be connected, but not working until manually reconnect again
is there any configuration that force the vpn to be reconnect when its paused (or no network),
if not, I am trying to modify the code ( I built it successfully using android studio ) and the question is where to modify and what I have to add ?
Information:
Android Version: 13 (I tested the same case on android 10 and no problem)
Device: samsung galaxy s20
Version of the app (0.7.53)
