+A nontrivial amount of effort has gone into the creation of this service , as for the other components of the Open Science Platform, which the consortium members consider as a long-term investment.
+Just as Sci-GaIA is the continuation of a long line of previous efforts and projects (both funded and unfunded), so the various services created or  continued in the project will continue.
