First hour

• Show display headline work to be done today
• Data Structures -- arrays, objects
  • when to use/not to use for...in... syntax
• JSON
  • show the structure of JSON and how it is a simple thread of information Break: find other JSON feeds

Second hour

• Lab: Display headlines from feed at http://daveriver.scripting.com/index.json
  • Demonstrate the success of the code to mentors
• Lab: Run your code through JSLint
  • Find errors in the code and correct

Third hour

• POTENTIAL: OOP Discussion?
  • Prototype inheritance vs. traditional inheritance
• Discuss first project and begin to generate requirements
  • Teams break into groups to define requirements and wireframes

End of Class

• Have first pass of requirements for all projects on Wiki
