What is a season?

Click/tap here to expand/collapse this section

A season is a time period in which workflow statistics run daily, and data is collected. Seasons typically last for 28, 29, 30, or 31 days, but some seasons may last longer (the only example being season 5, which was extended to let season 6 start on the first day of the month)

S07 /Seasons/7/ 2023, January 1st to 2023, January 31st 100% failure rate, with a worse streak than the GitHub flag era.
S08 /Seasons/8/ 2023, February 1st to 2023, February 28th Very high failure rate, until the last week of the month.
S09 /Seasons/9/ 2023, March 1st to 2023, March 31st A very successful month compared to last month, very low failure rate.

S13 /Seasons/13/ 2023, July 1st to 2023, July 31st A significant decrease compared to last month, but still moderately successful. This month had a very high failure rate, and a lack of success. Things didn't start to turn around until halfway through the month.
S14 /Seasons/14/ 2023, August 1st to 2023, August 31st An OK season, where fully successful runs were limited, but partial success was higher than the previous month.
S15 /Seasons/15/ 2023, September 1st to 2023, September 30th The workflow showed some signs of turning around, but I didn't actually put forward any commits until 2023, Saturday, September 9th. The workflow had a majority success rate, but sitll had a notably high failure rate.
S16 /Seasons/16/ 2023, October 1st to 2023, October 31st The workflow has not shown any success in its first 2 days of the moth. More description text will be continued once Season 16 starts.

Compilation

Seasons currently are exported into SVG image files that contain animations. It has proven to be a notable strain on the CPU of a computer for a single season, but the question of a compilation has not been thrown out.

The season compilation can be found Here be wary of system stability.

Safety precautions were added on 2022, December 7th and December 8th to make it require confirmation to load the README file from normal navigation. On 2022, December 7th, the folders were moved inwards 1 directory, and daily notes were added. On 2022, December 8th, a safe browsing section was added to the outer README allowing the navigation of the folders contents without opening it, and giving information on if the target file/folder is safe or not.
