Hi there! First off, thank you for using my app… definitely did not expect
anyone to find it buried under google. Anyway, I’d be happy to look into
this (although it’s been a year since I’ve last worked with applescript) as
soon as possible. I am currently on vacation away from my computer and
would be happy to assist you when I get home.
Thanks!
Shala

Uh oh
This app requires an administrator password to be modified, or you used an
incompatible image format. Re-run IconSurGUI and try again.
Note: System apps CAN'T be modified. Modify a System App Copy to customize
a copy of a system app

No matter what privileges I give to any of my apps, it's not just working
at all.

For example, I wanted to either put the existing VLC icon to Adaptive Icon
or get the iOS equivalent of it. Here are the steps I took
- Locate VLC on Applications > right click and click Get info
- Give it both "everyone" and "Administrators" privileges and put Read
and Write there.
- Close Get Info window
- Right click on IconSurGUI > give it both "everyone" and
"Administrators" privileges too
- Open IconSurGUI
- Click iOS App Store Icon Downloader or Resize Current App Icon
- Locate VLC and select that
- Click Somewhere Else
- The message appears.
Here is the screen capture video of the behavior just in case:

I hope you can help me fix this, because I refuse to use that Terminal
version instead.
Thanks
