Is it possible to use a documentation theme to make the documentation look like a blog post?

I understand that both can be enabled by #2528.

What I am thinking of is a page where I can post documentation pages on a regular basis, but also view the posted documentation in timeline, like a blog.
In other words, I would like to have both a view for documents organized by category and a view where I can read them in timeline order.
