Current one week value delays discovery of the bug fixes or other consecutive releases for too big time period.

After some more time looking at this it seems like not being big of a problem. In case a newer version is available, the user would be immeditalety prompted to update again, this time to the latest version.

There is a drawback of doing two updates at the same time though, caused by the #13. The user must go through the process twice.

To meet in the middle, reduce the caching period to three days should be OK.
