The Japanese characters are duplicated when I turn off my Live Conversion in my mac

I also encountered the same issue with Japanese input using IME. The text duplicates when I try to convert it.

Check out the library patch-package.
You can apply arbitrary patch fixes to dependencies.
after applying patch fixes the issue was resolved.
