SIL Converters v5.0
SIL Converters now supports 64 bit versions of Microsoft Office. There are two different installers, depending on which type Microsoft Office (32 or 64 bit) you have. Note that the difference is between different types of Microsoft Office, not between different types of Windows (as most people now have a 64 bit version of Windows). You can determine if you have 32 or 64 bit Microsoft Office by following the instructions in the first question of the FAQ. For some Office installations you can see what type you have by running Word, then selecting the File menu, Account, About Word and the type (32 or 64 bit) is shown at the end of the line that mentions the version.
Other changes include:
- Support newer versions of Microsoft Office (including 2019 and 365)
- TECkit mapping editor can now show characters outside of the Basic Multilingual Plane (BMP), that is, Unicode characters above U+FFFF.
- Updated TECkit maps.
- Updated TECkit to support Unicode 13.
