Inconsistencies in Grafana 8.1.5

Hi, I have noticed a few inconsistencies after upgrading to Grafana 8.1.5 with most recent signed version of this plugin (0.3.0).

• The dropdown to select Time Serie or Table format is missing.
• The query editor textbox previously called "Additional JSON Data" now called "payload" is not loading the config json setup on Grafana 7.x.
• The value from "Metric" drop down is not being passed in the request object.

Is it something with the plugin or my upgrade?

your plugin was supporting both timeseries and table formats which are still relevant and valid use cases

Exactly, the payload is flexible enough I'd say. There's infinite number of display formats so can't cover it in select anyway.

Is there any way to add the "format" option back? Any way I can do it from my side? It will save me updating a lot of panels and configurations. If you can guide me how to do it in an offline version of the plugin, it will be of great help.

You can use old version still or maintain a fork.

Or mass-migrate dashboards' json via grafana api

I tried the older version it has some formatting issues not showing the data/payload textarea.
If I go for the fork option, can you point me to what code changes would be required?

@rizahmed77 I'd like to note, that writing a migration script for your dashboards seems like a better way considered that older versions of this plugin will not support newer Grafana's
