STM32-based DIOT system board for stand-alone applications. It uses the same MCU as in Thermostat/Stabilizer and low-end ECP5 FPGA supported by an open-source toolchain. FPGA is used as an LVCMOS to LVDS translator and glue logic, but it is also possible to implement other functions, especially using the QSPI protocol that can further extend to the wishbone bus. The idea behind this board is to use high quality firmware developed for THermostat and Booster for other stand-alone applications Board is compatible with CERN DI/OT and supports up to 8 peripheral boards. Standard EEM modules can be used with DIOT-EEM adapters. The board will initially support High voltage modules and SILPA RF amplifiers.
