<p>Hi. My name is Sander Lamballais.</p>
<p>I’m a 20-something year old scientist with a passion for brain development, its antecedents and its consequences.</p>

<h2>PhD</h2>
<p>I am a PhD candidate (2016 - 2020) at the Erasmus MC, University Medical Center Rotterdam, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.</p>
<p>My promotors are prof. dr. <a href="http://www.erasmus-epidemiology.nl/people/profile.php?id=46">M. Arfan Ikram</a> and prof. dr. <a href="https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/henning-tiemeier/">Henning Tiemeier</a>.</p>
<p>My co-promotors are dr. <a href="https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Tonya_White2">Tonya White</a> and dr. <a href="https://adamslab.nl/">Hieab H. H. Adams</a>.</p>

<p>My work focuses on the factors that shape cognitive function and brain structure across the lifespan.</p>
<p>Most of my work is focused on the <a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5233749/">Generation R birth cohort</a> and the <a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5662692/">Rotterdam Study cohort</a>.</p>
