A Google Tag Manager Server-side Tag template for sending events from the Snowplow Client (and other GTM SS Clients) to any JSON HTTP endpoint.
This Tag allows you to forward events in your Google Tag Manager Server container to a custom destination endpoint.
Works best with the Snowplow Client.
This Tag reads event data from the "Common Event Data" specified in the Google Tag Manager documentation and also populates a number of properties from the rich Snowplow events generated by the Snowplow JavaScript Tracker in the browser and collected in the GTM SS Snowplow Client.
The server Docker image must be 2.0.0 or later.
- From the Templates tab in GTM Server Side, click "Search Gallery" in the Tag Templates section
- Search for "HTTP Request" and select the official "By Snowplow" tag
- Click Add to Workspace
- Accept the permissions dialog by clicking "Add"
To manually install this Client:
- Download
template.tpl
- Create a new Tag in the Templates section of a Google Tag Manager Server container
- Click the More Actions menu and select Import
- Import
template.tpl
downloaded in Step 1 - Click Save.
